Spring Break at Stone Mountain

Tulip poplars in full bloom...spring, in Atlanta, was a few weeks behind spring in south GA.

Willow tree...I will forever and always (amen) have a love for willow trees.  I can't explain it.  They speak to me.  Not LITERALLY...like they were Tree Herders or something...but on an emotional level.  I'll stop now.

 Hydrangeas.

Forsythia.  Or...if you say it like you have a lisp...Forthythia.  Why?  It's fun.

The men in the mountain...the Confederate Big Daddies.  That sounds like a band, doesn't it?  "Ladies and Gentlemen, put your hands together for The Confederate Big Daddies!"

Saints preserve us!  He was ACTUALLY reading the instructions!

He was just trying to be cool.

Putt-putt golf...a "pinky out" affair!  Who knew?

Lining up his shot.  I promise you, he's doing geometry and all that in his head to make sure he gets the best possible outcome.  He is an engineer, therefore, he breathes.

He, however, is not an engineer.  And a golf club isn't just a golf club.

This big boy ate my little boy!

Train whistles are REALLY loud when they are this close to you.

Hole in one?

Hole in one!

And one for him, too!

He was smiling, but he was really fretting about his Iphone...it was stuck...wouldn't turn off, wouldn't slide...nothing.  God smiled and saved us a trip to the local Apple store...Y1 pushed two of the buttons at the same time and it unlocked.  YAY...dealing with the Stepford Dorks at the Apple store was not my idea of a good time.

His idea of a good time...what day..what time is it?  Which way is the wind blowing?

Y2, Y1, Mr. Snark and Me.  I'm pitiful.

My brown eyed LOVES!!

Sigh...love this man in the making!

Reason #1...

#2...

and #3 for always taking multiple shots when dealing with this bunch.

At the top of the mountain...

Atlanta's skyline

Please...please....stop being in SUCH a hurry to grow up.
