Breaking News

*The following public notice was printed in our SMALLtown weekly paper.  I've always said real life is stranger than any fabricated fiction.  Here's your proof.  Names have been changed to protect the innocent...and those who aren't.

To whom it may concern:
The marriage between Alphonso (Alphonzo) (Rev. Alfonso) Smith and Frances Dodge Smith as well as the marriage between Alphonso (Alphonzo) (Rev. Alfonso) Smith and Sunny Fines Smith have been void due to the fact that Alphonso (Alphonzo) (Rev. Alfonso) Smith is still legally married to his first wife Joanne Joiner Smith.  Georgia is a public records state, therefore all said information is available to public knowledge and can be found in the probate court documents in Here, There, and Everywhere Counties.
If you are one of the 10 (possibly more) known children of Alphonso (Alphonzo) (Rev. Alfonso) Smith of SMALLtown, please send your contact information to the email address below so that any questions or concerns that you may have can be answered, and any unknown children can be identified.  This is merely an attempt to identify and children that have not been identified as of yet.

I had to read it a few times to let the unmitigated absurdity sink in!  I have to be honest with you and tell you that we've had a good bit of fun with this around YOHOS!  Pretty low hanging fruit, but we aren't snobs when it comes to our comedic fodder.  I mean no disrespect to the women involved in this sordid affair (heck...it's an assorted affair...and these affairs are going to have to be sorted...every pun a winner!) and I am sincerely sorry for their troubles.  I also feel for the "10 (possibly more) children" and the ones who have YET to be identified.  I can't even imagine the emotional turmoil this might cause for so many innocents.

Then, there's him.  I have no words.  Did he think he wouldn't get caught?  It's not like he went one state to the east or one state to the south...nope...he stayed right here in a very small pond where it doesn't take long to sniff out what's rotten in Denmark, so to speak.    Seriously...I have no words.

Let me say it again...real life...stranger than fiction....every time!
