Summer Vacation

*This story/poem is made of words that can be spelled with the letters found in "Summer Vacation."  Sounds easy, doesn't it?  Try it...it's a lot more complicated than you think.*

Time to sun.  Time to rest.
No timers on, Mama...
Not a one.
Time to vacate!

So, rent a van, Mister!
Take a tour, take a seat.
Caves or sea?  Ruins or summit?
Time to roam.

Ice in tea meant to save.
Meat sears.  Moisture vents.
Time to eat.

Ants amuse, vines rise.
Sun on toes.  Sun on nose.
Same sun on manes.
Time to stun.

Movie rents; a risen star.
Rains mist on me.
Sure is nice.
Time to nest.

Sat on a vista,
A no name vista.
It caters to me.
Time to stare.

Mama rants names, as a cantor:
“Sara!  Martin!  Vera!  Tim!”
Minors run! (Minors are nuts!)
Time to cover.

More sun.  More tea.
More ice, no tears.
No ire means
Time to savor.

Storm comes.
Vanes turn.  Sea raves!
Sane men move.
No time to sit.

Sun, at rise, merits a seat.
Tom cats amuse me...
scat, cats!
Time to muse.

Tunes on air
Tunes tour our ears
Ions in a star...
We rent time.

Our sun move on...
return to reason.
Summer no more.
Time is not mine.
