Christmas Caroling...Days 23 and 24

We have enjoyed our time in The Mitten State.  Not as much snow as we'd like but there is enough to say "white Christmas."  I had coffee with TW, yesterday morning. TW and I were roomies at EMU (Go HURONS...the eagle is an interloper and usurper!), Freshmen year.  Through the years, we've written letters, made countless phone calls, sent packages and visited when possible.  So we met for coffee and donuts...nutty donuts...you can ONLY find them in my beloved Mitten State.  It's a plain, cakey type donut that's been run through a sugary-type glaze and then rolled in crushed peanuts.  YUM-O...just sayin!

TW is a small town kindergarten teacher and if there is only one person in the world doing what she was born to do, it is TW.  When I think of her in her classroom...I just SMILE!  There are lots of things that kindergartners need to learn when they first come to school.  Walking in a line is one of them.  It would seem easy enough to teach such a thing, but a so many things are, this is one that is sometimes easier said than done.  So, to alleviate the complicated nature of learning how to walk in a line, she shows a clip from "The Jungle Book"...you know, where the elephants march.  How perfect, yes?  TW has a beautiful inner child.  So, for my TW..."O Come Little Children."

It's the BIG NIGHT...the night before!  Let's go traditional for today's choice...
